Silas was created based on the acts of Florence Silas (1905 - 2001) who raised 8 children alone due to the loss of her husband from a sudden heart attack. As a single parent her selfless act was to provide a home, food, education and love to her children. She died at the young age of 96 years old knowing she succeeded in her quest and today Silas provides home care services with her loyalty and passion.
